KLEARIO
PRIVACY POLICY.
Introduction
Kleario helps you rediscover and review photos and videos accessible on your Android device and decide which items to move to Trash. This policy explains how Kleario handles media and local settings, and how advertising and external services may process information.
Kleario does not have a user account system. Its core media browsing and cleanup processing is local. Advertising and external support services are separate from that local processing.
Media access and processing
With your permission, Kleario reads accessible photos and videos through Android's media system. It uses information such as media identifiers, content references, file names, dates, folder information, size, dimensions, type, and video duration to organize and display media.
Kleario loads image previews and plays the active video on your device. It uses metadata to organize Flow days, Shuffle browsing, filters, sorting, and review summaries. It does not intentionally query GPS coordinates for these features.
Depending on your Android version and choices, you may grant access to your library, selected media, or no media. Limited access limits what Kleario can show. You can change access in Android app settings; Kleario checks current access again when returning to the foreground.
Kleario does not upload your photos or videos to a Kleario-operated server. The current app has no such server, gallery synchronization, or cloud backup feature. This does not control other gallery apps, device backups, or cloud services you use, and does not mean advertising services receive no data.
Local settings and app state
Kleario stores settings and operational state in app storage. These include onboarding status, permission-request history, your applied browsing configuration, a small browser recovery checkpoint, the default muted-video setting, advertising frequency counters, a local Plus entitlement cache, and metadata for items managed in Kleario Trash.
Pending Trash choices, Undo, and manual mute changes are session-local and may be lost if the app process closes. Pending Trash is a staging area, not a deletion command. Browser recovery checkpoints, Trash records, preferences, and similar local state are not designed or promised as transferable between devices.
Kleario v1 does not implement or rely on Android backup or device-transfer restoration for application state. Some eligible app data may still be handled by Android's default backup or transfer behavior depending on your device settings and OS; Kleario does not promise that this state will be backed up, restored, or available on another device. This is not a Kleario backup feature.
Trash, restore, and deletion
Double tapping marks an item for Pending Trash. You can undo a mark before proceeding. Actual cleanup happens separately through review and confirmation.
On supported Android versions, moving to Trash uses Android System Trash. Availability, retention, and restore behavior are controlled by Android and the media provider. On older supported devices, Kleario Trash can logically hide and track items without moving or copying the original files into an app-private vault.
Moving to Trash does not promise that storage is immediately freed. Permanent Delete is a separate destructive action and may require Android confirmation. Permanently deleted media cannot be restored through Kleario. Partial success and inaccessible items can affect the outcome shown.
Kleario's Trash screen manages its tracked records, not every item trashed by every app on your device. Removing app data does not itself restore or permanently delete gallery items that Android is managing.
Advertising and consent
Kleario uses Google AdMob to show Native browsing ads and eligible Interstitial ads after successful Move to Trash operations. The app does not attach your gallery images, videos, media identifiers, or file names to its ad requests.
Google's advertising SDK may process network/device information, advertising identifiers, interactions, and diagnostics for advertising, measurement, and protection against abuse. This processing is distinct from Kleario's local gallery processing. Consult Google's Privacy Policy and Mobile Ads SDK disclosure guidance.
Kleario uses Google's User Messaging Platform to obtain and update consent information and show required consent messages. Where required by the configured consent flow, Settings provides Privacy choices so you can revisit those choices. Available options depend on region and Google configuration. Limited or non-personalized ads do not necessarily eliminate all SDK data processing.
Kleario Plus uses Google Play Billing for a one-time purchase that removes ads. Google Play handles the purchase flow. Kleario queries purchase ownership at startup, when returning to the app, after purchase updates, and when you choose Restore Purchase. The app processes purchase state and receipt tokens to activate Plus and acknowledge completed purchases. Receipt tokens are held transiently in memory and are not stored in local preferences or written to logs. A small local entitlement cache supports startup, but it is not proof of ownership; a successful Google Play ownership query corrects it. The current implementation uses the Google Play client and does not independently verify receipts on a Kleario-operated server.
External links and support
Help & feedback opens a Google Form in your external browser. That service may process information about your visit and any responses you choose to submit under its own terms and privacy policy. The app does not automatically attach gallery content to the link.
If you send feedback or email JADL Studio, your message and any information you voluntarily include may be handled to respond to your request. Avoid sending private photos, videos, or other sensitive information unless needed for an issue you choose to discuss. You can contact us about information you supplied through support.
External websites are not controlled by Kleario. Review their privacy practices before submitting information.
Retention and user choices
Local persistent settings and records remain until overwritten, reconciled, or removed with app data. Android governs System Trash retention; Kleario does not promise a fixed retention period for every device. Session-local staging state is not a permanent record.
You can change media access through Android settings, revisit available Privacy choices, use Undo for recent pending marks, and restore tracked Trash items when supported. Clearing app data removes local app state. Any OS-managed backup behavior is separate and is not guaranteed by Kleario; Android-managed gallery media is also separate. Resetting or deleting an advertising identifier uses Android's controls, not a Kleario account deletion feature.
Google and external services apply their own retention/deletion practices. Contact JADL Studio at the address below regarding information you voluntarily supplied to support. A request concerning support information does not automatically erase Google SDK data or change gallery files.
Security
Kleario uses Android's app storage and permission model, bounded local media loading, and platform cleanup authorization. Google's SDK disclosure describes encryption in transit for its transmissions. We do not claim that all stored app data is separately encrypted by Kleario, that device backups are disabled, or that any system is completely secure.
Children's privacy
Kleario is designed for general users, not specifically for children. It does not provide child-specific accounts or features. If you believe a child has supplied personal information through support, contact JADL Studio. Store audience declarations and advertising configuration must reflect the actual intended audience and applicable requirements.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when relevant app functionality, services, or data practices change. The published policy will show its effective date. Any material change should be reflected in the app's disclosures and store declarations as appropriate.
